Reduced lower limb strength in the older adult population is associated with diminished ability to perform functional activities , increased risk of falling, increased risk of experiencing recurrent and more severe falls , and increased mortality risk. For the more frail older adult, repeated sit-to-stands may be sufficiently challenging to improve lower limb strength and reduce functional limitations. Therefore we Alpro Physio Ipoh implemented sit to stand exercise for elderly in JJ Blessing Care Centre Ipoh. Since this exercise required no equipment, the elderly can do this exercise at anytime and anywhere. Get Better ! Stay Better !

A Day with A Great FIGHTER ! Alpro Physio Ipoh were glad to meet the breast cancer survivor and able to share with them the correct way to prevent incontinence and lymphodema at Hospital Pantai Ipoh. New Hope Old Folks Home ! Today is the second time our physiotherapist ( PT Ee Lin, PT Hazilah and PT Zulaikha) visited New Hope Old Folks Home at Ipoh. They welcomed us with a great smile on their face and we are very happy to see them again. What is stroke? How its happen? Stroke is the third leading cause of death in Malaysia and it remains one of the major public health problems worldwide. Hypertension, high cholesterol and smoking are among the factors that can increase the risk of getting stroke. Since we are getting near to celebrate Hari Raya Aidilfitri, all of us should be modest in food consumption.
